As a congregation with a focus on worship, Royal Gateway Church is looking to grow their worship team. Therefore, we are urgently looking for spirit-filled and talented individuals in the following areas to join our worship team on a part-time basis:
Worship Leader
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Worship Leader to join our church team. The Worship Leader directs and manages our worship services. The Worship Leader will ensure that the services are engaging and meaningful for our members, inspiring them to deepen their spiritual journey.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Plan and lead weekly worship services and special events
• Select appropriate music for each service
• Ensure that the services remain engaging and spiritually inspiring
• Participate in various church activities, such as Bible studies, small groups, and outreach
• Manage the worship team and coordinate rehearsals
Requirements and Qualifications
• Some formal training in music will be an advantage
• 5+ years of experience leading worship services preferred
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency with musical instruments
• Knowledge of traditional and contemporary music preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Ability to effectively lead and engage a congregation in worship
• A passion for worship and spiritual growth

Worship Team Positions – Part-Time
As a congregation with a strong focus on worship, Royal Gateway Church is seeking to grow our worship team. We are urgently looking for spirit-filled and talented individuals to join us on a part-time basis in the following roles:
Available Positions
3 Guitarists (Lead, Bass, Acoustic)
Drummer
Summary of Duties
Successful candidates will play their instrument of choice under the supervision of the Worship Pastor during rehearsals, scheduled church services, and special events.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidates shall:
Have a clear testimony of salvation.
Be able to read and play a variety of music.
Display excellence and proficiency using the full capabilities of their chosen instrument.
Be dependable, consistent, neat, and supportive, with a passion for music ministry.
Devote a minimum of two hours weekly to rehearsing and playing for services.
Commit to being a member of Royal Gateway Church.
Desired Qualifications
In addition to the required qualifications, the ideal candidate shall:
Have a minimum of three years of experience playing their instrument in a band or orchestra at the high school level or higher.
Responsibilities
To perform this role successfully, the individual must be able to:
Maintain skill in playing their instrument through personal practice.
Play during rehearsals and worship services as assigned by the Worship Pastor.
Prepare and practice selected music for rehearsals and services independently.
Play for special services such as revivals, conferences, and other church programs.
Compensation
Successful candidates will receive a generous honorarium.
